College Search

The Library at American International School/Dhaka has resources to help students and their families with the college search. Titles in the library include comprehensive books about colleges and universities around the world, suggestions for writing college admissions essays, financial aid advice, and more. Most resources are available for checkout.

The World Wide Web is another valuable resource and students are encouraged to use the web to research college options. The World Wide Web provides access to almost every country and institution of higher education in the world. You can find helpful admission information such as:

  • A university’s selection process
  • Course descriptions
  • Prerequisites
  • Admissions requirements
  • Support and services
  • Scholarships and financial aid

For some universities, you can download an application and speed up the application process by several weeks.
