AISD will use the international school job fairs as a means for teacher recruitment in the coming school year. We will attend fairs scheduled for January and February 2009. In the past we have attend recruitment events in Bangkok, Thailand (Search-Associates & ISS); Waterloo, Iowa (UNI); Boston (Search-Associates); and San Francisco (ISS). We will also find creative ways to communicate and interview potential teachers.
AISD will continue to seek teachers committed to their own professional growth, who value ongoing professional collaboration, who work well with a diverse student population, who appreciate a community-based school concept and who understand the challenges and opportunities of living and working in a developing nation.
